"Mein Blut" is the blood donation app developed by the Austrian Red Cross (ÖRK), designed to offer additional benefits to both first-time and regular blood donors. Available in Upper Austria, Vienna, Lower Austria, and Burgenland, users can access a range of useful features.

Appointments: Easily find the next blood donation event in your area and seamlessly transfer the appointment directly to your calendar.

Health Questionnaire: Currently available in Upper Austria and soon to be introduced in Vienna, Lower Austria, and Burgenland, this feature allows donors to save time by completing their health questionnaire up to 48 hours in advance on their smartphones. Users receive an initial assessment regarding their eligibility to donate. Simply bring your smartphone to the donation event and present your QR code containing your responses to the medical staff on site.

Results: By verifying your account and linking it with your blood donation service, you can access your lab results and findings in a secure space at any time. No more waiting for written reports! Notifications will be sent upon completion of all tests, enabling immediate access to your results.

Donations: Stay informed about when you are eligible to donate again. With a quick glance, you can see when your next opportunity for whole blood or component donation is. Additionally, track the number of donations you have made and when you can expect your next token of appreciation!
